Models knit in Merino Cable by S. Charles
From the pattern:
Either cable pattern looks very nice worked in other yarns. Try a DK wt alpaca
for a lovely, soft, lighter weight scarf. Or make a
soft, tailored muffler in sport or fingering weight. For best results, choose a
relatively smooth, monotone yarn, so the stitch patterns will show to best advantage.
Determine how wide you want the finished scarf to be. Use the needle size and
tension information on the yarn ball band to estimate how many stitches you need to
knit a scarf that width. Now, adjust the number of stitches to the nearest multiple
for the cable pattern, cast on that number, and away you go!
